Uses:

• Treatment of prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

Active constituent:

• Abiraterone acetate.

Administration:

• Usually given with steroid medication to lower the chances of side effects.
• When prescribed for an early stage, used with testosterone lowering treatment.
• Not for use in women or children.
• Take as prescribed by the doctor, in an empty stomach.
• Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and the patient is advised to eat after 1 hour after consuming the medication.
