Velcade 3.5mg Injection

Uses:

  • Treatment of multiple myeloma;
  • Treatment of mantle cell lymphoma.

How it works:

  • Velcade 3.5mg injection inhibits the 26S proteasome and blocks a major cell signaling pathway. This makes cancer cells sensitive to chemotherapy.
  • By inhibiting the proteasome, Velcade 3.5mg injection disrupts the normal process of protein degradation within the cell. This leads to the accumulation of misfolded or damaged proteins, which are toxic to the cell.
  • The accumulation of misfolded proteins triggers a series of cellular responses, including the activation of stress pathways and the induction of apoptosis.
