Uses:

Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug
- Excessive leukemic myeloid blasts
- Hypersensitivity to yeast-derived products
- Underlying medical conditions such as congestive heart failure, pulmonary infiltrates or pulmonary edema, renal insufficiency
Precautions:
- Caution in patients with underlying medical conditions
- Avoid administering solutions containing benzyl alcohol, including this injection, to neonates and low birth weight infants
- Not recommended during pregnancy

- Common: fever, nausea, vomiting, mouth sores, hair loss, weight loss, lung problems, urinary tract problems, diarrhea, headache, rash, abdominal pain, high blood pressure, decreased appetite, feeling unwell, lack of energy
Administration:
- Should only be administered by a trained doctor or nurse experienced in giving chemotherapy
- Subcutaneous (under the skin) injection, usually once daily
