Vfend 200mg tablet is an antifungal drug that contains an active ingredient called Voriconazole. It belongs to the medication class known as fungal ergosterol synthesis inhibitor. It is is prescribed for severe, life-threatening fungal infections and as a preventive measure for high-risk individuals, including those who have undergone bone marrow transplantation. This medicine should not be given to children younger than 2 years of age.
