Uses:

• Advanced renal cell carcinoma;
• Advanced hepatocellular carcinoma that cannot be surgically treated;
• Advanced papillary and follicular Hurtle cell thyroid carcinoma.

Mechanism of action:

• Soranib inhibits multiple receptor tyrosine kinases (enzymes), primarily vascular endothelial growth factor receptors and platelet-derived growth factor-β receptors.
• This prevents the development of blood vessels in tumor cells (angiogenesis) and arrests the growth and spread of the tumor cells to other organs.

Dosage and administration:
