Uses of Sedogest 450mg Tablet

• Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC);
• Cystic fibrosis (liver disease in children aged between 6 to 18 years);
• Gallstone (not visible on plain X-ray).

Sedogest 450mg works by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver and increasing the secretion of bile. This helps to dissolve and prevent the formation of gallstones, as well as improve liver function in certain conditions.

Important Safety Information

• Pregnancy: inform your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby.
• Breastfeeding: tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or about to start breastfeeding.
• Lungs: it is unknown whether taking a Sedogest 450mg tablet is safe. Notify your doctor if you have or have had any history of lung condition.

Interaction with Other Drugs

Certain medications such as cholestyramine, colestipol, cyclosporin, nitrendipine, birth control pill, blood thinner and antacids may interact with Sedogest 450mg and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects. Inform your healthcare provider about all your medicines.

Storage

• Keep Sedogest 450mg out of sight and reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light.
• Store below 25°C.
