Uses:

• Adjuvant colon cancer

Mechanism of action:

• Pro-5 500mg stops the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting DNA synthesis.
• It gets converted into its active form called fluorouracil and interferes with cell signaling, preventing the multiplication of cancer cells.

Important information:

• Not recommended for children and adolescents.
• Before taking, consult a physician if you are intolerant to sugars as this medication contains lactose.
