Uses:
- Treatment of iron-deficiency anemia in adult and pediatric patients who cannot tolerate oral iron or when oral iron supplements are ineffective.
- Treatment of iron deficiency anemia in adults with chronic kidney disease who are not on dialysis.
Active Substance:
- Ferric carboxylmaltose.
Important Information:
- Not recommended for pediatric patients less than one year of age.
