Composition and Mechanism of Action

  • Active ingredient: Lenvatinib.
  • Lenvatinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
  • Blocks the enzyme receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs), which develop new blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the cells and help them grow.

Indications

  • Progressive or advanced thyroid cancer when radioactive iodine therapy is not beneficial.
