Cireta Tablet contains an active component called Calcium citrate and Vitamin D3. This medication is used to treat and prevent conditions like osteoporosis (weakened, porous bones, increased fracture risk.), osteomalacia (bone softening), rickets (bone disease in children), and hypoparathyroidism (underactive parathyroid glands). It is also used in the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (overactive parathyroid glands due to low calcium or high phosphate levels in the blood) and pseudohypoparathyroidism (a condition in which the body is resistant to the effects of parathyroid hormone). It may also be used to prevent bone loss in older adults and to support bone health in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is also used to supplement vitamin D and calcium in people at risk of deficiency, such as people with inflammatory bowel disease or who do not get enough sunlight.

People allergic to  Cireta Tablet or any of its components should not take this medication. People with hypercalcemia( high calcium levels in the blood ), hypervitaminosis D (too much vitamin D in the body), and hypercalciuria (high calcium levels in the urine) should not take this medication. It should not be used in people with kidney stones.  It is generally safe for older adults and children. However, it is important to talk to your doctor before taking it, as older adults and children are at increased risk of developing hypercalcemia.
