Kerendia 20mg Tablet: Effective Treatment for Kidney Disease

Indications:

• Chronic kidney disease (CKD) with type 2 diabetes

Purpose:

• Addresses conditions associated with imbalanced levels of mineralocorticoid hormones, specifically aldosterone.
• Lowers the likelihood of kidney disease advancement.
• Mitigates the risk of cardiovascular incidents, such as heart failure, in patients with CKD and type 2 diabetes.

Usage and Dosage:

• Take the medication orally, with or without food.
• Do not skip doses or stop taking them without consulting your healthcare provider.

Contraindications:

Side Effects:

• Serious: severe allergic reactions, worsening of kidney function, liver problems, severe hyperkalemia, hypotension leading to fainting or loss of consciousness.
• Common: hyperkalemia, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, nausea, hypotension.

Storage:

• Store at controlled room temperature, between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
• Protect the medicine from light and excessive moisture.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets.

Additional Information:

• Restrict the intake of high-potassium foods like bananas, oranges, tomatoes, and salt substitutes unless advised otherwise by your healthcare provider.
