Renostrong Tablet

Renostrong Tablet is a nutritional supplement containing alpha-ketoanalogues (KA) of essential amino acids as the active ingredient and other essential amino acids. It belongs to the group of amino acids. It is given along with a protein-restricted diet to delay the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). It reduces uraemic symptoms (caused by the accumulation of nitrogenous waste compounds normally eliminated by the kidneys), improves nutritional status, and reduces metabolic complications in CKD patients. It works by lowering urea levels in the bloodstream and slowing down the advancement of kidney disease, thereby delaying the need for long-term dialysis. 

It is not recommended to take a renostrong tablet if you are allergic to protein, have protein intolerance, or have disturbed amino acid metabolism. Tell your doctor if you have hypercalcemia (high level of calcium) or abnormal heartbeats because the administration of this medicine may cause increased calcium levels in the blood and irregular heartbeats before taking this supplement. During treatment, your doctor may recommend periodic monitoring of your serum calcium levels. Notifying your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
