Emtaf Tablet

Active ingredients: Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Alafenamide

Class of medication: Antiretroviral medication

Indications:

  • Used in combination with other medicines to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and who weigh at least 35 kg.

Mechanism of action:

  • Emtricitabine belongs to the class of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI).
  • Tenofovir alafenamide belongs to the class of nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NtRTI).
