Acriptega tablet consists of the active substance called Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. Dolutegravir is an antiviral medicine belonging to the integrase inhibitor family. Lamivudine, Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, which belongs to the antiretroviral medicine class. This medicine treats HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection in adults and children with 40kg or greater. It is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) and works by inhibiting the enzymes (HIV reverse transcriptase), which is important for virus replication. While consuming this medicine, you may still develop infections related to HIV. Although effective antiretroviral therapy reduces the risk, HIV transmission is still possible when using this medication. Contact your doctor for more information.

Do not take Acriptega tablet if you are allergic to Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, or its other medical ingredients. Patients diagnosed with pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis should take this combination of medicine cautiously. During this treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. Notify your doctor if you have or had a history of lactic acidosis (excess lactic acid), pancreatitis (inflammation in the pancreas), bone disease (osteonecrosis - the death of bone tissue), fractures, liver (chronic hepatitis B), or kidney problems.

Inform your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Breastfeeding is not recommended while taking Acriptega tablet due to the potential transmission of HIV infection to the baby from mother.
