Uses:
- Treatment of low platelet counts caused by primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.
- Treatment of severe aplastic anaemia.

- Stimulates megakaryocytes (large bone marrow cells) responsible for producing platelets.
- Raises the number of platelets in the blood, preventing bleeding and bruising.
