It is indicated to treat adults with multiple myeloma, mantle cell lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome and follicular lymphoma. Multiple myeloma refers to the cancerous progression of plasma cells that are predominant in the bone marrow. These cells gather in the bone marrow and split uncontrollably. This type of cancer cannot be cured; however, the symptoms can be alleviated. Myelodysplastic Syndrome is a group of various blood and bone marrow diseases, where the blood cells become abnormal and do not function properly. Mantle cell lymphoma is a less common type of cancer that affects the lymph nodes. Follicular lymphoma is a slow-growing cancer that affects the B cells.
